    SSE mark III hunter?

Anyone doing this yet? Seems like you'd only need the sled, right?

Yep, that is correct, and since you're not "renting" a barrel, that should reduce the cost of the SSE, but ultimately, that's entirely up to the FFL that's completing the conversion for you, but I would definitely advocate for a discount. In my case, it worked.

As long as barrel is more than 6 inches.Shorter models would be a no go.

Interesting question,I'd like to know also.

Should be good to go with a wooden sled and a oversized grip screw to hold the sled/magazine in place..

The MKIII Hunter fell off the roster?

I bought one a number of years back....the 6 7/8" version. It is a great pistol. I had to change the rear sight blade to a square notch rather than the stupid v notch. It does better at 100 yard steel targets than my 2003 stainless 10/22 rifle.

My brother has the SR22 pistol (if I remembered the name right). It is a great little polymer pistol that I would love to have, but it was taken off and I do like the Mk series better. F Kalifornia and the stupid roster.
