I got the VQ extractor from Brownells and installed it. Only took 2hours and 10 minutes. 5 minutes to disassemble and two hours with a magnet to find the launched eaxtractor plunger and 5 minutes to reassemble it after we found it. I also removed the metal part of the LCI thingie since I had it apart.

I hand cycled a full mag and it worked good. I'll try to the range tonite and test it.

      DOH!
      Glad you finally found it!

BTW you totally had me about to say the ol' "they arn't that hard to put together" line before I got the the launched spring part

Removing the metal part of the LCI may or may not help.. theres a debate.. But I remove it.. thousands and thousands of Standards, MKI and MKII where fine without them. Who needs another part gumming up the works..

      Goodluck!

Yup. Just got mine out today. 150 rds of cheap bulk with 1 FTE.

I watched the YouTube video so I knew to put my finger over the channel to stop the plunger from launching!

I might have to see about a lighter spring to cycle the Aguila subs.

The Ruger autos will not cycle low velocity ammo until they have a few thousand rounds through them and may still have cycling issues with the stock factory spring.
