Sig 522 Classic folding stock CA legality

According to the flowchart, AW laws don't apply to rimfire, but am I missing something? I'd like to buy one of these rifles online and I'm looking for solid info on a rimfire with folding stock legality.

    Thanks

For rimfire rifles the overall length needs to be 26" in the shortest fireable configuration. So as long as the rifle is greater than 26" with the stock folded ypou should be good to go.

I am not a lawyer and the above is not legal adivse.

      What he said.

And this is required in order to comply with CA's SBR laws.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for! According to Sig specs, I'm good to go. I'll just have to find one with a 10-rounder or without a mag since I have plenty of BDMs.

You're fine. I've had a 522 SWAT Tactical for about 3 months now and I know a couple of stores in the area have other versions in stock with the 10 rnd mags.

Mine is awesome and accurate, my daughter took it the last time we went to MSM Range and she had a great time with it.
