Is there an easy fix for this magazine issue?

These are mec-gar magazines for the 22/45. The spring is a lot stiffer than the Ruger factory mags. (factory mags are flawless)

I bought two mec-gar magazines. they both caused issues every third round when new. After sitting for a month+ and loading/unloading them many many times, just one magazine is giving me a headache now.

It starts to feed, but the bolt closes on the round, pinning the round on the feed ramp at a 45' angle.
Usually there's a good dent on the lower part of the casing, near the rim. The bullet itself is usually deformed from the action (is there a risk of out of battery detonation here?)

(Left shows damage to bullet, right shows damage to casing)

When the bolt is opened and mag drops, well... this is what comes out:

Is there an easy fix for this? (Bending or filing the magazine maybe?)

    Contact the importer for megar.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

(Just from looking at your pics)...

The dents in the cases are from the lower corner of the breech face.

The mags are not releasing the rear of the round early enough.
Compare the length of the front edge of the rear feed lips of the Meg Gars to the length of the original mags.
I suspect the Meg Gars might be a bit longer or at a different angle.
You can send them back or you may be able to shorten or bend the lips as needed.

Any mis-feed can result in a OOB firing.
But, I've seen a lot of these jams, I've never seen one go boom.

I would guess that you should just be able to bend the feed lips of the magazine - just use the original factory magazine as a reference to match & don't bend too much all at once, just a little bit at a time till you get it right.
