    .22 Conversion for LC9

Well, I finally got out to test my Twisted Industries (http://twisted-industries.com) .22LR conversion for my LC9. Worked great with SV and HV ammo, grouping less than 3" at 5-7 yards. No FTF or FTE over about 100 rounds.

It installs easlily and looks great. After I bought mine, I see they are now offered in 3 colors, CeraKoted OD Green and Coyote Tan as well as Graphite Black ... even the magazines. The mags are machined and the halves are dovetailed and fit like a glove. The follower is AL and the only plastic appears to be the floor plate. The only difference on assembly is the cross pin is installed while at slide lock. They make them for several pocket pistols. I may replace the rear sight, it is a bit small.

Don't own an LC9, but my brother is considering buying one---will let him know about this---I like the idea!

If they end up making a kit for the LC9S, I'll get one for sure!

Like the idea because the LC9 is not fun to shoot.

I ended up doing one of the early Galloway trigger kits. It helped a lot but dang that gun was a PITA to get dialed in. Pinned front sight, cerakoted the slide because it rusted if it even saw water/sweat, Italian made mags only, and a new trigger. I like all of the .22 conversions, especially if they are reliable, which from the research I've done says they are.
