iron sights vs. scope on a bolt action?

Anybody here prefer using iron sights over scopes on their bolt action rimfires, such as peep sights/tech sights?

    April Fools was last week.

Oh, you mean Iron sights VS. Scope

Depends on the application man. I like irons on my Browning SA-22 but I like my scope on my CZ trainer.

Some rifles almost demand iron sights. This CZ 452 Ultra Lux has a 28 inch barrel and Brno Standard Target Sights.

Depends on the rifle and application. Most of my .22lr rifles have irons, a few have peep sights and a few have optics.

I have the same setup on a Brno #4. My old eyes have yet to be able to guide my fingers to produce good groups.

Irons for Olympic position shooting; scope for BR in my world. The rule is, "You can't hit what you can't see."
