    Polish a 10/22?

I am waiting to pick up my stainless TALO 10/22 with the fish scale checkering on a walnut stock. I was thinking about using some of my Mothers Mag Wheel Polish on the receiver to shine it up a bit. Has anyone ever tried this? What does it look like?

Make sure the receiver doesn't have some sort of clear coat on it tho.

Yeah it seems to me that some are anodized some painted and some with clear coat depending on year. I suggest you check it first!
Mother's, Flitz along with Auto-sol and Simichrome work well for the intended purpose.
