10/22 bedding advice/input

I have bedded all my 10/22s in wood stocks. It is not hard, but very time consuming. So if want someone else to do the bedding, expect to pay some $$$ I think the McMillan stocks are polymer and epoxy does not stick to polymer well. You would have to go in scuff up the surfaces and add some relief cuts. So is this all really worth it?
On mine I free floated the barrel and only bedded the back half of the receiver. That was where most of the play was. Tape off the receiver with scotch tape. That gives you about .002" clearence. Coat everything near and far with PVA release agent where you do not want the epoxy to stick.
I have a good supply of epoxy and filler on hand. In your case best to use JB weld tubes of epoxy.
Best of luck.
