You have to ask yourself why exactly you would want this rifle. It just looks like an AR style rifle, but with no working features of an actual AR platform rifle. If you just want something inexpensive that looks like an AR than this will be ok. But if you want something that has actual working features like an AR you should look elsewhere. I'd recommend the S&W 15-22, the Sig 522, the HK MP5 A5 or building your own AR in 22lr. So yeah, it's a skip imho.

My nephew HAD one, Complete Garbage in my opinion. So many more, better options.

It's just a Mossberg 702 in a cheap clamshell plastic stock that makes it vaguely look like an AR15.

You can do better! SW MP15-22 is also on sale this catalog, for $449, and that rifle is basically an AR chambered in .22

I vote for the Ruger 10/22. Mine's been very, very reliable. And it's right around the same price, at least in my neck o' the woods.

I hear good things from Mossberg fans, but if you go look at one....You get what you pay for...it's nothing like the other AR-22lr out there...if you are okay on how it looks...go for it. It functions fine...just Looks and Feels like a toy.

In a test of 5 tactical looking .22lr weapons it finished at the bottom in every category except price. With weapons, scopes and ammo you get what you pay for. Not saying that's necessarily bad, just go into it knowing that.

That gun acutally got me interested in 22s as big 5 had one here for cheap. My friend said 1022 has far superior craftsmanship. Bought the 1022 and never looked back.

My brother is law bought one of these not to long ago. It was having way to many issues to even bother. He never used it again.
