Ruger 22/45 Fiber Optic front sight.

Just DROS'ed Ruger 22/45 with replacable grips.

Please recommend me a good Fiber Optic front sight for it, I don't like black on black.

Please advice.

I always prefer Williams Fire sights to any other Fiber Optic sight company. I had them on my buckmark 22lr rifle...they are the brightest I have ever seen. I have HiViz on my M&P22 pistol...they are just ehhh, I will switch them out for fire sights.

My 22/45 has a Dawson fiber optic front sight. I also have used the Hi Viz version and I like the Dawson better. The Dawson sight has a cleaner sight picture and it can be ordered in different width blades.

What height Dawson precision front sight should I order? .420? I am planning to use stock adjustable rear sights on Ruger 22/45 5.5" bull barrel. Is .100W width OK or thinner is better? ramped or flat?

Will this Dawson precision front sight goes well with rear stock sights?

I like the Hi Viz sights because it is so easy to replace the FO rod. Have 'em on all of my Mark pistols.

Here is the latest addition, on a new Mark III Target. Each Hi Viz comes with several FO rods in various colors.

I'm not going to be much help right now on the dawson sight because I don't have my caliper handy until next weekend. I think mine is .125" wide and it is .420" high but I'm not 100% sure on the height. On the width the narrower sights are faster to pick up but there is more wiggle room on the accuracy side too. Give dawson a call on the stock height.

I run the Hi Viz on my 22/45's and Single Six. Plenty bright, easy to swap FO rods, and not overly bulky. I prefer the green over the red as the red seems to "bloom" as I have gotten older (vision issue).

I have HiViz on mine and my friend has the same gun with Williams firesights on his 22/45. I prefer the Williams firesights on his over my HiViz sights.
