Marlin 81 DL Help!!!

Hey guys,
My Marlin 81 is acting up. I am having a hell of a time picking up the next round when I cycle the bolt. As well as the rounds feeding too high. I did find that my screw was stripped that bolts the cartridge carrier base to the receiver. I have ordered a new one. However it has been having this problem on and off for a while. Any ideas on what else it could be, and what I can do to remedy it?

Feed ramp or more likely a magazine issue. Might look into obtaining another magazine but start by cleaning the magazine that you have and polish the feed ramp if it has any burrs. Check the bolt face and extractor(s) to ensure all is well there.
