What y'all think of my plinker?

Finally got my 10/22 Stainless w/22" barrel scoped proper...

Now all I am waiting for is the BX-25 magazine to show up that I ordered, unfortunately it comes only in black.

Maybe a Volquartsen SILVER trigger group, but why does that have to cost more then the gun did?!?!?

I think Ima gonna get the Stainless Marlin XT-17VS and do the same thing to it too, except that one comes with a laminated stock already!

The more I look at this rifle, the more I like it! Personally, I like the black trigger group and mag with the stock color.

What stock is that? Would this type of stock (with an integrated pistol grip) classify the 10/22 as an AW (in CA)?

I honestly don't know. I moved to AZ about 9 months ago and I never have any issues gun related... except the wait time for my suppressor stamp... 8-12 months...

I do have the same issues as finding this stuff... This took me 3 days to accumulate....

Prolly will last me a month or 2....

I believe rimfire is exempt from the pistol grip AW rules, but check the flow chart sticky to be certain.

If you are living in Vegas the days you're working there and it adds up to over 6 months, I think you can apply for NV residency....

How do you like the stock? Does it shoulder well, good cheek weld, work well from the bench and offhand? Maybe Boyd's will eventually get their act together and sell those to CA Residents once again. After all we can buy a Savage BSEV rifle here with that exact same stock. The whirling derbish continues to spin here. Love AZ, go there on RV trips several times a year.

THX! For me it shoulders beautifully as long as it's scoped. And without the scope, going iron's, I gotta put my cheek behind the cheek piece to see the sights. Got my BX-25 for it now, it's all dressed up!
