Sold my old marvel and got one of these new profiles. It is much more forgiving on ammo. Shoots like a dream. (+ you can use GSG mags if you like)

I purchased a Nighthawk Custom conversion about two years ago, great results. Got the weaver rail and converted it to a red dot and tucked away the iron sights. End of last year got the itch to get a bottom without the iron sights and mount the ones I stored, so I gave Nighthawk a call. Never heard back. Put the idea on the back burner.

Fast forward to last month, looking on Calguns and found reference to Nelson, and being inquisitive saw what I thought was identical to Nighthawk, so I gave them a call. Spoke with Larry Nelson, great guy, very knowledgeable and told him my problems. He told me they made the conversions for Nighthawk and that I had the irons sights that would fit his conversion perfectly. Ordered it and got it last Tuesday. Was a perfect fit, and got out last Friday to try it out. All I can say is, outstanding. From the first shot which was an X on a B6 target @ 50yds until the last round from my third box of SK Standard Plus (by the way he reamed the chamber for SK Standard Plus per my request) every shot fired, locked back on last round every time. Kept most shots in the black, it was a long week. I'm very happy and plan on shooting it at Camp Perry this year. will swap rails to put my Matchdot on top of the Nelson conversion and I'm set.
