    Hogue Stock for 10/22

I am in the process of "de-tuning" my 10/22 to original barrel and standard stock. I used the original wood stock for another project so I now need a another stock. One cost effect option is a Hogue. I have read lots of reviews including one on this site. Range from " lint/dust collector, flexes, not so good.
    Several have stated, "It's Great".
So, for those who have one: What do you think? Pros and Cons.
If it matters, the rifle will have a scope on it.

    Thanks in advance.

My biggest issue was the collection of debris. The most serious of match shooters might complain about flex, but for your intended purpose, and for most folks, it is very rigid. Another con is that it weighs about .75lbs more than a factory synthetic stock.

My first 10/22 came with one. Its a nice general purpose stock. The rubber finish is comfortable & grippy.

        Lint collector? Who cares?!?

Actually, I'm currently building a Kidd 10/22 & decided to go with a Hogue stock in "Ghillie Tan".

I love mine. Feels and looks better than stock oem. Just ordered another for my Mini 14.

I just took off my stock synthetic stock and put on a hogue.

Hogue is nice, but if you're going for light 22, just use the factory stock. you can find them cheap.
