    Range Report: Feb 21, 2014

Another fun day at the range although I didn't shoot all that well. The Mini-Mags were by far the best ammo with the Federal Auto-Match a close second. Actually if it weren't for three rounds they would have been the best. The Winchester surprised me and didn't shoot as well as expected. The Remington Golden Bullets turned out to be not so golden. The two rounds not in the square were the GB's and two didn't even hit paper. I think the Velocitors and Stingers are better than I shot as I was getting tired. I shot the brands from top to bottom, left to right.

I sure like these targets. At 3X the white circle was the size of the crosshairs so if I saw any white I knew I wasn't centered on target.

Looks good. One of my 10/22s loves the Federal Auto Match but doesn't do very well with Golden, but my Nylon 66 does maybe you have to shoot Remington ammo in a Remington

Very nice. Good that you already know which ones work best for your rifle. Good looking rifle btw.

The H001 I have is every bit of fun to shoot. I have run .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 LR through it. Yours looks like fun with the optics.

      Enjoy it more!

Yes they are! I bought one (.357/.38spc) while I still lived in California before moving to Arizona in the late spring of '13.

It was DROS'd under "Curios & Relics" as a handgun.

It was alot of hassle cuz I think I was one of the 1st that had bought one in California because the LGS had alot of trouble trying to get the vendors to ship it to them. He ordered it via phone, was given the serial number, I paid 594$'s w/tax&DROS for the gun, he DROS'd it and it cleared! Then we waited..... and waited..... and waited.... 3 weeks later and no "shipped" confirmation from the vendor. Vendor said it was cancelled cuz they couldn't send it to California.

So the LGS had to cancel the APPROVED DROS, refund my money and all that....

About 2 weeks later TWO of them showed up at the LGS! They called me and said they got some new hand guns in and wanted to know if I wanted first crack at them becuz they weren't sure they were gonna be able to get anymore.

He brings out the Rossi Ranch Hand (Mare's Leg) Damn was I ever surprised!!! I paid, they DROS'd and later I was at the range with it!
