    My first 22lr firearm

Finally got it - Walther MP5 A5 .22lr. I really like it and can't wait to go out to the range!

    And the company she keeps

Not sure why people reference this as a Umarex. I know they are the distributor, but the word Umarex is nowhere to be found on the rifle. This is a Walther - made by them and supported by them for all warranty work. I'd really like to get the IWI UZI pistol, but it probably isn't on the CA approved roster. Anyone know who can do SSE in the Bay Area?

My brother has one and we've put about 1000 rounds through. No sides at all. Great choice. Really fun range toy. So far his has eaten federal bulk, rem GB, Win M22, and CCI minimags. I haven't tried any other ammo in it yet.

I actually bought ammo prior to choosing what 22lr firearm I wanted (a couple of bricks thanks to slickdeals and the ammo finds post). As everyone knows, getting ammo is harder than getting the firearm for this caliber these days.

Endless fun plinking soda cans. Brilliant adding the red dot site! 2x the fun.

                  Enjoy!

Sweet, that's on my the short list, that vs m&p15-22. I bought mags for both already right before the new year. The real question is, which one do I get first? Also want the ruger takedown, but since I already have a ruger 10-22, it's lower on the list. Let us know how you like it and how she shoots.
