Of course now I'm left wondering why you want to act like you have some vested interest in those particular earmuffs *cough* FANBOY *cough* to the point of pretending that the product is somehow perfect without a fault and failing to understand why it sells so well compared to some of the competition that runs $200-$300. If you don't want your own lack of knowledge exposed(which is also something you're making out to be a bigger deal than it really is), don't make assumptions about other people next time when all they did was post their experience and a couple of simple facts.

If you're not concerned with protecting your hearing, fine. I don't plan on being that old dude at the range who has to swap out his earplugs for hearing aids 40 years from now.
"FANBOY?" Really? ...who's making assumptions now? Whatever dude. You apparently have some personal "thread poop" problems to work out...but you're doing a fine job of promoting the collaborative spirit of this board. Welcome to my ignore list.

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

Go ahead and ignore me, makes it easier to point out the bogus stuff in your posts regarding important things like hearing protection when you want to lie about NRR22 being adequate for much of anything.

I use the standard foamies at 30 db, I also have Hearos rated to 32 db. If outside, that's all I really need. If in an indoor range next to that guy with the .308 and side firing muzzle break, I put the cans on. Same shooting the 7.5" pistol.
Outdoors shooting .22LR though my BCM with a Levang linear compensator, no plugs needed, nice and quiet for the shooter.
I don't like that most all cans will ride up your head when placing cheeks on the buttstock.
Anyone make the cans with the thinner bottoms like on some of the active models? I don't need a radio in my cans.

So, I did some research on this subject a few months back and I found some great resources. The research lead me to Peltor instead of Howard Leight.
          The links are listed below:

Ps 25:4-5 NLT Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.
