Would be easier to just remove the mag safety if it's preventing your magazines from falling free, rather than paying to replace all of your magazine floorplates.

I have not used the spring type plates. I'll pick up a new 22/45 tues & bought a bunch of parts. Adj trigger/sear & magazine disconnect bushing. Volquartsen told me I needed their MK11 hammer with the MK111 disconnect bushing & the hammer was pricey. Seemed like a sales pitch. I bought the Tandemcross bushing, great reviews, everyone says the trigger gets better & mags drop easier. Really excited to pick this gun up, unlike any other before.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Call hawktech in Boise. Dan, the owner, is making them now. They work well and add an extended baseplate which is nice. They are a little pricey, but I like the extension.

I'm going to echo what has been said about just getting a hammer bushing. We actually have a combo going on right now that includes a bushing and extended mag bumpers as well as some other helpful things. Check it out!

Bob, got my mag bushing fri, the quality of the part's amazing! I'm usually not all that impressed with parts, I worked in a prototype machine/cnc shop for a few years. This part is polished looking stainless! I'm sure the fit will be just as nice. Tues I will find out! Yay!
