Six shooters and ammo

I have recently discovered one of my guns that can't shoot golden bullets.

I know lots of semi-auto cant but I was shocked to see that Golden Bullets will not operate in my Chiappa or Uberti. It seems that the case butt is too thick for the cylinder space and that during cylinder rotation there is a jam. I recently discovered this fact, after having to send one gun back for this problem. The rest of the ammo brands that I use have not caused this problem.

One of the guns chambers are recessed and the other isn't, which I find interesting since both have the same problem.

And while I'm at it tonight, both are Italian made.

Has anyone else seen this?

yes. I really like GB's. they shoot great out of the 10/22, MP15-22, and bolt 22's. Also my Mk I.

However, they are very problematic in my bearcat. also, my mom just purchased a Ruger LCR in 22. (a sweeeeeet little gun) I gave her a box of GB's to shoot and she had problems with them loading and extracting in the cylinder. She purchased some CCI's from the range and they worked perfectly.

Federal 22's work great in the bearcat.

I don't know what the deal with GB's is, but they are not revolver friendly. Other than that, they are definitely rifle friendly.

Thanks as you can read, i sent a gun back to the manufacturer for this issue. Guess they could not duplicate it. LOL.

If it had not been for that second gun I would never have thought it was the gbs.
