DROS Date
If the gun is falling off the roster because the manufacturer has chosen not to renew its certification, then you can begin the DROS anytime before the expiration date. Delivery can occur after the gun is off roster. If the gun is removed by the DOJ prior to the expiration date, then that gun can no longer be DROSed or delivered as of the date the DOJ removes it. That means if your gun is in the ten day waiting period when the DOJ removes it from the roster, your gun cannot be delivered to you. The problem is that you do not know when the DOJ will remove something. That is what happened to the SR22.Comment

if I can find a store in my area that has it in stock, sadly I think my ruger mark series guns will only be in the used/consignment market. My only glimmer of hope is we get rid of the roster
