BTW, was there ever a safety recall sticky for ammo (maybe in Ammo/Reloading forum)? I coulda swore there was but a quick search turns up nada.

eta: and one last thing, who in the heck decided the lot numbers need to be buried so deep in the packaging?

this is what a REAL recall looks like, guys I think this is a fake and its being passed around to mess with people.
go to their website and type in "recall" this is the only one, and its from last year.

Ever look at the Recall's on the wall at Walmart or Target in the returns area?
They look just like this.

Appreciate the post, good catch. I just wish all the comedians would quite screwing around with sarcastic replies in this thread. Recalled ammunition can be a serious safety concern and sometimes the posts attempting to be funny don't come across on the forum as a joke or just being sarcastic.

Then we get JohnP pulling apart .22lr ammo making double charged super hot rounds to go in his 10/22 cause calguns members said it would work...

and this is why I keep all my ammo in the original boxes and don't dump it all out into an ammo can. makes it hard to report a problem to the manufacturer if you don't have lot numbers, and makes it hard to check to see if you have any ammo subject to a recall.

Was wondering the same thing. Refunds would suck since it pretty much can't be replace anytime soon.

Luckily the 5 boxes I just checked are good to go.
