    Ruger American Rimfire compact

For the last few months I've been all about bolt action .22's. I've had a Marlin 25N for over a year and until recently haven't shot it that much.
In November I picked up Ruger's new bolt action .22. I went with the compact so I could use my existing 10/22 case. My initial thoughts were good and they only continue to get better. The more rounds I put down the barrel the better it gets. Currently I have it set up with #16 Weaver mounts, Warne PA low steel rings and a Nikon P22 scope.

Here's a few pics of the rifle and its results

        Nice setup and shooting!

Feel free to update us with more info and pics as your experience with it progresses. It's a rifle that's next on my list. Great practicality, functionality and price point. It'll spawn a solid and cult-like following.

Been thinking about picking one up. Do you have any second thoughts about getting the compact over the full size version? Nice shooting by the way!

No regrets at all about the compact purchase. I do how ever regret painting it khaki.

It's a great rifle. Decided I'd try my hand at a camo paint job.
