455's have serious issues, mine is going back for the third time and I dont think they will fix all the problems. Might as well get my money back. Really tired of the 455 and its headaches!
Now the 452 is a game changer and awesome gun. -
I've been following your 455 issues and can't figure out what is preventing them from replacing the thing. Have you mentioned your threads shedding negativelight on the product in hopes to light a fire under their butt?
I want a wmr but balk at the idea of a 455 at this time

If you are interested in a CZ 455 or any other of the options, go to Rimfire Central, CZ/Brno and read, ask questions, and do your own analysis before deciding to buy or not to buy. There have been a few problems with the 455, but as far as I know all have been addressed by CZ USA. The folks in Kansas City will do all they can to fix a problem, if there is a problem.I've been following your 455 issues and can't figure out what is preventing them from replacing the thing. If it was my gun that Problemchild has, I would have sent it back months ago and asked for my money back. Then I would have either bought another CZ, or gone on down the road to greener pastures and not looked back. Life is too short to have that many problems and not have them solved.
I have 8 CZ's, one of them is a 455 Varmint. It had a bad crown from the factory, I sent it back, it was recrowned and I had it back in less than 2 weeks. It is the most accurate of all I have.Comment

How can you tell if the crown is bad? Would it be obvious? I just got a 455 varmint and all seems good to me but I'm also a noob.If you are interested in a CZ 455 or any other of the options, go to Rimfire Central, CZ/Brno and read, ask questions, and do your own analysis before deciding to buy or not to buy. This is a good example of a bad crown. This is what mine looked like before I sent it back. If yours looks anything like this, do not e-mail CZ USA but call them and tell them you think you have a problem. Ask if they want pictures. This is what I did, they e-mailed a shipping label and I had it back shortly.
