ID Help with Old Boy Scout .22 Rifle

    Hi All,

Hoping you guys can help me out, trying to figure out what the first firearm I ever shot was. First time I did was back in the Summer of 2000, a .22 rifle in Boy Scouts (Camp Royaneh) for my Rifle Shooting Merit Badge. Details I remember were that the closed iron sights were great, and it was bolt action with no magazine.

If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated. From their website, I believe the one in the picture below is it.

I already tried emailing the camp staff, turns out they replaced all their rifles with new ones a few years ago, and didn't know what the old ones were.

Edit: Thanks to roushstage2 for IDing the ones in the picture. Looking at it, chances are the Savage Mark I-FVT's were the ones that replaced the old ones. I wish I had looked into it sooner, but I guess some things will be left in the past.

Did some looking around and thus far, it seems that those might be a Savage Mark I-FVT?
