          Got my hand guards today.
I'll post pics of them after they are built.
If the snow and ice ends, I'll get a range test posted.

The barrels look to be very well made. Came with fitted, nickle plated collars/feed ramp.

Got the barrels and uppers put together today[]
            Couple ideas for the 8.5"
Suppressed with a 10.5" M.I. Key Mod hand guard and M.I. ERS folding sights.

            I like this:

            16" Taccom Heavy Barrel
12" M.I. Key Mod Hand Guard--M.I. SLP Sight Set

I really like the Taccom Upper Receivers. Shorter ejection port, no forward assist, deleted port cover.

The Midwest Industries Key Mod Hand Guards are top notch in every way.
I thought they would be rough to handle. Every edge has been deburred.
Very light weight, narrow, easy to handle. The Key mod plates are a breeze to install.
Things that make a big difference in the comfort is the small scallops along the hand guard.

Snowing and cold here so no range report yet. It's coming though[]

Dave, do you mind putting together a parts list of what went into your uppers? Your 16" build looks awesome!

                    Dang Dave, nice weapons.

I think I'll go with Taccom ULW Barrel and Midwest 12" Keymod. I'm sure that'll turn out to be a really light weight upper.

EDIT: What's the diameter for the ULW barrel? 0.92 or 1"?
