    Son's early Christmas present

Son came over to pick up present not knowing what to expect. At 26 you just don't get excited about things from dad.
Well he was surprised to receive a 10/22, and of course we had to go "try it out".
He shot around 100 rounds of cci stingers, 50 standard velocity and 50 golden bullets. NO ftf. Nada. NO fte. Nada. He even rapid fired a mag and Nada.
He's one happy kid. And dad is happy that the rifle worked like a champ. I didn't want to have to fix it. And he loved the digital print stock also.

Well done, one of our sons is also getting a 10/22 for Christmas and our daughter in law is getting a Marlin 795.

          you're very cool dad!

I remember re- finishing my old 10/22 (which was also super reliable) in a light wood stain.
I was so glad that a father and son got it after I was done with it,I was moving and couldn't take it with me.

and one that was finished in the factory dark stain so it was nice "father and son set".
I also through in a nice double rifle hard case.
I hope they are still using both of them together...as it should be.
go out shooting with him as much as you can.

Awesome gift dad. Several years ago for my son's 21st BD I gave him his first and only AR-15. The expression on his face was priceless.
