    Pheonix HP22 hard mag loading

Just picked up the HP22. Did the mod's, clean, oiled, racked the slide 2,000 times (to loosen things up) and took it to the range to see if there is any malfunctions. None! But, loading up the mag. Not a fun job, in loading the last 3 rounds. Any ideas out there? Any mag mod's?

Ruger mags are hard to load the last rounds in also. Remember, most malfunctions of a semi auto is the mag. I don't know if there is a mag loader made for the Phoenix like the Sig. If so that would help.

Its only hurts the first time lol. Try gloves or never put lotion on your hands so they will toughen up a little lol. Which part of the mag is getting you? try very lightly filing any sharp edges. If it is the tension towards the bottom try leaving the mag full when not in use, and lube the mag a little.

Place the cartridge on top of the one that's already loaded in the mag slightly forward. Push down on the rim and casing with your left thumb then push the cartridge in the magazine with your right thumb.
