    Ruger sr22 or walther p22

Looking for some impute on which one people like better. Which one feels better, made more reliable. Also, yes I'm aware that the sr22 is off roster, but ppt is an option.

The SR22 is by far the better and higher quality gun.

Was just shooting mine this weekend, very reliable and lots of fun.

SR22 is a great gun, I highly recommend it. It's more expensive here due to the roster issue, but it holds its resale value very well and is very accurate and fun.

My SR22 can shoot any of the cheap bulk stuff without any issues and it's been a real good plinker.

Thanks guys for the input. I didn't fall in love with the walthee when I held it, but there's no way to see if I will like the sr22 before I find one to ppt.

I've got the P22. Can't use bulk ammo, only likes mini mags. Besides that, I like mine.

I have both and for whatever reason never had any issue with p22 and bulk. They are almost identical. P22 has been updated too. I have older one

Take a look at the S&W M&P22 also. It has eaten everything I've feed it so far.

Wife really likes her SR22. It is somewhat small for my hands even with the larger grips installed..Seems to a be a decent little Firearm though..

I will not even comment on the P22..

                          I agree. I own a Walther P22 and I agree.

Mine will not shoot most Federal ammo at all - maybe one or two shots and once in a great while an entire mag.

Mine does shoot mini-mags and Golden Bullets perfectly, but I'd still get an SR-22 if I didn't have the Walther.

sr22 over p22. I made the correct decision to go with the sr22 right before it fell off the roster.

Mine shoots anything EXCEPT the Winchester 333 etc bulk.

Hey OP. I posted the same thread about 6 months ago. If you think the sr22 is small, the p22 is even smaller. As you will notice from all the post, the sr22 is the clear winner. Only problem now is that you need to add an SSE fee to the total cost. Just not worth it for a $300 gun. So I shifted my interest to the mp22 and ended up getting that instead.
