Aguila really strung them along. I hope some other maker is seeing things a little more long term and would like the CMP as a regular customer and actually gets them some ammo.

I have never bought any ammo from the CMP. But is their pricing really any better than anywhere else? It seems to me they are usually higher than the "civilian" market on just about everything. Also such a small miniscule percentage of the 22 ammo consumed is even bought from the CMP, that this really has no effect at all on things.

22 ammo is becoming much more available now. I hear it is tight in CA yet though. But just be patient.. I just bought up around 1000 rounds in the last week at Walmart at pre stupid prices. I have never paid more than regular pricing for any .22 I have, which is quite a bit.. It will likely also drop in price at retailers in the coming future when the market is flooded with it..Just bought a Winchester 555 yesterday at Walmart for 25.00 plus tax..Did not really need it but it is mine now,all mine No sense in letting the scalpers have it..

Should have bought 20,000 two years ago when it was $95 for 5,000.

Ok, who wants to start up a new rimfire ammo & gun company ?
Looks like there's a need for a more responsive & fleet footed supplier.
