    rare ruger 77/22 ?

have chance to acquire ruger 77/22 without the 77/22 roll mark. blue book says they are rare. rifle has iron sights, walnut stock and is in excellant condition. anyone know how rare it is, and approx how many were produced without the rollmark ? thanks

I have to say that (IMO), the 77/22 is not iconic enough for something like this to substantially add to the gun's value.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

blue book says value at +125% of reg book value. i think alot of it depends on rareity.

        77/22

I don't know how rare they are but I bought a used one in very nice condition for less than $500.

mlazarus5388. did yours have the 77/22 roll mark on the reciever. the fact that the one i'm looking at does not have the model designation on the reciever is what has me asking questions.
