.22 AR Conversion Kit is going Crazy

So my CCMG .22lr ar-15 conversion kit double taps with a single pull of the trigger now and again. I've shot over 2k rounds with it and its happened 4 times now. Whats the deal? Has anyone else dealt with this?

do you have a 'standard' AR trigger?

have you made any 'adjustments/mods' to the trigger? especially the sear?

make sure trigger is clean and all pins and springs are in correctly and there is not excessive lube on them. debris in the trigger can lead to malfunction.

if your trigger, or hammer, pin 'walks', it can lead to problems.

Does this happen without running the conversion?

Take your trigger out and clean/inspect all the parts, and try again.

Ditto. I had a Geissele trigger in my AR22 that ended up causing doubles. I had to take it out and go back to the stock trigger
At least it passes the function check now...

Copy that. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

I have a stock trigger that is well maintained and has no signs of wear. If anything the CMMG BCG does show signs of wear and I have not experienced this with my .556 BCG in any way so I'll be giving them a call and hopefully CMMG can shed light on the situation.
