    Savage Mark 2 FVSR

Just scored this bolt action 22 with a 16 inch bull barrel on Gunbroker. Anyone else have this gun? Any opinions?

I have the MK II FV and love it, it's one of three heavy barrel Savages I own.

I've got the 21" barrel version and first day out I was pegging a 6" rock out at 220 yards with federal bulk and a Vortex Viper. Love the rifle.

I have the same exact one with a Mueller APT on it. I like shooting it. Some people think the stock is too light but it doesn't bother me.

I filled my stock with epoxy to give it some weight. Its just a bench and ground squirrel gun so I'm sot too concerned about how heavy it is now. Made a big difference to me.

Brought this beast home today.....really small and light. Surprisingly almost pellet gun like. Great to bug out with.

I scored a used one for my son a few months back. Awesome gun. Came with a a nice scope and bipod. Super accurate and fun to shoot, great trigger. Stock is ok but I'm going to replace it with a Boyd's thumbhole soon. Only shot GB's and federal bulk and it's very accurate. Will have to put some better ammo through it to see how well it shoots.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

I have an FV-SR and I really like how compact it is and the balance. I like the threaded barrel for when I move out of Kommiefornia someday too! Great little rifle, I was very impressed for the price.

I love mine. I got the one with a scope and added a bipod.
It's relaxing to shoot too. I could hit the 200 meter dinger by spinning my elevation knob 2.5 turns, spin it back and go back to making shotgun shells jump at 50 yds. I got the 10 round mags, I think it came with a 5. I don't even know where it is now.
Since then, I got an insane price on a super mojambo scope from a buddy who needed cash. It's ridiculous. The original scope was fine but what the heck!
It's a variable so now I just give her a twist.

Thinking about a scope at Big5 on Black Friday sale. Some good ones to be had there.

you have to have a scope and a tripod.
                            you have to
I also set my accu trigger at the lightest setting. never saw the need to make it any heavier.

Did you have the scope bore sighted?
