    Install a bull barrel on a 10/22

Is it a big deal to install a bull barrel on my 10/22 carbine? I presume I would need a new stock. Would it be cheaper to buy a new 10/22 Target version?

Swapping barrels is a piece of cake, you either need another tock or maybe the barrel channel on the old one can be opened up.

You can do it on the cheap via a 3/4" electrical sweep and some aggressive sand paper.

        The target model is $400-500.
        A new barrel is $90+
New stock (if you want one) $60+
...You can build your version of a target gun much cheaper.
