Can anybody confirm that savage bolt action rimfire magazines fit in marlin guns? I've heard this as a "rumor" from different people, but nobody I know has done it for themselves.
I'm looking to use one of these magazines:
In my marlin XT-17. I've read that bolt action rimfire marlins all use the same magazine, and that on previous models it has been interchangeable with savage magazines which are of better quality.
