Why is this illegal in CA. Its a fixed length, the adjustable is also illegal.

I think it's because the pistol grip makes it full auto...
It's probably because someone that works there doesn't understand California law...or it could be that you could add a pistol grip to a semi-auto rifle with a removable magazine... OH THE HORROR!!
