Champion Pop up target

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but it seems to fit well here.

I have only shot paper targets and want to try out some steel. Was wondering if this is angled downwards to prevent ricochets. Also if shooting this target with copper plated hp at 50 yards is safe.

I got two of these on sale ast Turners for $13ish. Amazon has a fair price.
These are great. You will enjoy the reactive targets. They'll make noise and you get the visual feedback as well. 50yds is plenty. Hollow points aren't preferred, but 50yds is fine. The HPs will just dent it more.
The angle should not matter as the impact force pushes the target back and down. If anything, the bullet and fragments should go any direction except back to you.
