15-22 tacticool 10 round restrictor legality

So I own a couple of high cap magazines kits for my 15-22 for shooting out of state with family. They currently just sit at home while I take my other mags to the range, which I thought is kind of a waste. Saw that tacticool22 sells a 10 round restrictor for the 25 round magazines and was real worried about the legality of them.
From what I read pertaining to laws concerning high capacity magazines, I thought that the modification must be permanent? Therefore since this can be removed it still violates the law. Anyone else care to give their opinion on this?

Here is a link to the restrictor http://www.tacticool22.com/shop/smit...ctor-p-15.html

    Thanks in advance

Install it, then pin and/or epoxy it in place.

That is what I was thinking, if thats my only option I will just stick to the 3 other mags I have and keep the kits at home.

If you want to keep you normal mags normal for use in normal states there's no way to use them in this abnormal state. Permanently neuter them or leave em in pieces. So sad.

I would leave your kits alone and by more 10 rounders. Those kits are going to be valuable so you do not want to restrict them in any irreversible way.

I have the restrictors in some of my mags. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Starting 01-01-2014, it will be illegal to import large capacity magazine kits.

So you can take the parts kits out-of-state, but you can not legally bring the parts kits back.

There are no exemptions for people who owned/possessed the parts kits in CA prior to 01-01-2014.
