Finally got my new Mark III Target home, which is the end of my gun-buying binge for now.
Anyway, I broke the gun down, cleaned and lubed it, and off we went to the range. The gun performed great, with just one failure to eject in about 140 rounds, which failure I attribute to a flakey round. (I was shooting Remington bulk ammo.) Before taking it to the range I put the Hi Viz FO sight and a Crimson Trace lasergrip on it. Surprisingly, the gun required no zeroing of the sight whatever, at ten yards it was dead-on, with only my mediocre caffeinated shooting and cheap ammo detracting from the groups.
