I guess I could be picky and look at mine, but it shoots so well, why bother? Hope it's not crooked too, or is it too crooked, I can never remember...

It's the bent at the receiver not the tube, looks like there is a gap .

Sorry it is taking so long, I've shot friends' 15-22s and they've all been reliable and great guns to plink with, so hopefully it'll be worth the wait... I have not been able to talk myself into buying one unfortunately; I'm planning a full build with aluminum parts...

By the way, I had to send a lower receiver back to Mega once for a manufacturing defect that got missed. I shipped it directly to them and they shipped directly back to me a new one, no FFL, no DROS. What they do is when they made a new lower receiver, they put my original serial # on it, then destroyed the old receiver. Same serial = same gun, no need to DROS again. Now if S&W cannot do that, then yes it would have to go through FFL again but I would fight for them to pay the fee. Good luck!
