Help with a Savage MKII stock

So I'm thinking of getting this stock for my Savage http://www.troupsystems.com/Leopard%...mk%20stock.htm

but I don't know too much about them in terms of reliability, ease of function, customer satisfaction, etc. Anyone have any experience with them? Even though I wouldn't be able to use my iron sights with the stock, I don't mind and would love to drop my Savage into this stock. I got to fire one with the stock and loved it and the owner said he loved it but I figured I'd do some more research first.

They are getting some raps for long delivery times over on RFC. Here is a thread on one customer's issue:

On July 12th I payed for a leopard stock for my left handed MKII to the tune of $152.00. I then emailed them about their remington 700 stocks. I have emailed them a couple times a month asking for shipping dates and for a contact number to talk to some one. As of today I do not have a stock or...

WRT to quality, etc, you might research that forum for more info.

        Doesn't that tell you something...?

Take a look at Boyd's Tacticool stocks.

If I find out enough about the stock but their customer service and turn around time still sucks, I'll order it elsewhere. I like the Boyd's stock but it wasn't as comfortable as the Leopard stock to me.

Can you also deal with this:

NOTICE---We make these stocks with a very tight fit to the receiver. You may have to open the inside of the stock up a bit, and maybe the mag well area also.
If you don't have the wood working capability to cope with this, it might be a big consideration....

Yea that won't be a problem I have a good amount of experience with wood work and my girlfriends dad has extensive knowledge and experience in wood working and carving.
