    Redfield Scope for 10/22?

I bought a couple Redfield Revolution 2x7 scopes a couple of years ago. One I put on an AR and the other is still sealed in its box. I was thinking of putting it on a custom 10/22 that I built up. I am pretty sure it has a 100 yard paralex. I shoot it at 50 yards and out to 100.
Question is, would it be ok at 100 and 50 yards, or should I just buy a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire scope. That one has a 50 yard paralex setting.......seems I'll have a problem either way.

I'd try the Redfield because it's already paid for.

There is an equation for figuring out max parallax error at different ranges.
Assume the Redfield is 2-7x 32mm and parallax is set for 100yrds.
Then at 50yrds, max error would be 8mm or .3". That would be max with your eye way off center. Most cases your eye will not be that far off center so you could assume about 1/2 that error or .15". I would say go with the Redfield and have fun.

I have a couple 3-9x40 Redfield Revolutions on a couple somewhat stock 10/22's......I bought before I researched or honestly had ever heard of parallax......they work great, the gun and scope shoot better than I do, so no issues here

Thanks for the feedback. I'll use the Redfield that's in my safe.

Just put a redfield revenge on a 10/22 and it works great.
