M&P 15-22 price and availability

Hey Guys,

I've been having my eyes on one of those M&P 15-22's. They seem to be reliable and fun as a plinker. I saw a deal on Impact Guns for $429.99 shipped. It has a threaded barrel and is California compliant (my understand is that 10rd mag is what make it CA comp). I'm sure there has been better prices, but is this a good deal (for the current situation anyways)?

I know there is also the cost of dealer transfer, which will likely kill the deal. However, considering where I am located (East SF Bay Area), I'd imaging I would still come out on top of buy from a local shop, if any of them actually have one in stock.

Well said. I did call one of my local shop, but they had nothing in stock. However, does price go any better than what Impact has now? Just for my curiosity

Get it, mine goes to the range every time, even caused me to sell the 9mm AR as it basically filled the same function at a cheaper price.

Great plinker to have next to your AR15/M4 platform. Do get the threaded barrel w F & R MBUIS. Looks a ton better than the bottom of the line 15-22.

I throw a PA red dot site on it (on sale for 79.99 at the time). All that fun and capability for about $600 is a very good and practical deal. Get on it!

thats a pretty good deal at that price. i payed a bit more & picked up the moe. its an awesome rifle & very fun to shoot. it has become my favorite rifle.

I got the threaded berrel version as I do have some Ar parts around. I also have a Bushnell TRS lying around. Time to get a riser to set it up properly.

It's good to see many people like them as I don't 15-22 get discussed very often. Pictures to follow if I don't get too busy playing with it
