Help me decide: Ruger Single Six C, Ten, or SP 101 .22LR

Heard iffy things about the SP 101, but loading seems a lot easier.

Leaning towards the Single Six Convertible at first due to its versatility, but thought about it some more... don't think I'm going to be using the .22WMR as much.

Single Ten has more capacity, though slimmer 'gunfighter' grips, but also has fiber optic/adjustable sights which I had planned to upgrade on the Single Six if I were to go that route. Similar price as the Single Six too.

Oh ok, thanks. I'm hoping to check out Turner's this weekend as they have it somewhat on sale for their Fall flyer-- not sure where to start in terms of other local shops.

SP101 is a nice revolver with fiber optic sights and well balanced. It is accurate, reliable, & I love the revolver except it has a heavy double action pull.

That was my initial pick until I came across/researched/held the Single Six and Ten.

I maybe leaning towards the SP101, since I think there are trigger jobs/fixes for it now... hmm...

i also bought the SP101 in 357 from Turners.
Haven't shot it yet though.
Hope to take them both out this weekend.
I hear you can buy Wolfe springs to lighten the double action pull on them

I have an old friend that has an old (early 1970's) single six.The box and everything. He offered to sell it to me once. If you are interested and wouldn't mind driving to OC, I could ask if he still wants to sell it?

If you were up here in SF, I'd let you try the heavy DA trigger. I do plan on getting a trigger job too because it is absolutely needed but I still love it!

I have a bearcat. Bought it for my son but who am I kidding. I bought it for me!! Get the single action 22. Funnest shooting gun you'll ever own. Can't tell you if convertible or not. Gonna ever shoot 22 mag???

Also the bullet diameter in 22lr and 22wmr are different. Might affect accuracy. Dunno.
