    my first .22

I just DROSed my first .22. I went with a new ruger 10/22 in blue camo (the one turners temecula had on special for their grand opening last month) Came with a scope, forgot brand name... $199.98. Im super excited. My wife isnt into guns that much, so I guess I just wanted to share or brag... Its going to be a long 10 days.

As has been said before, spend your wait time buying ammo, spare magazines and checking out all of the great aftermarket stuff out there for your 10/22.
Don't forget to break in that barrel !!

Sage advice. You can never have enough magazines or ammo.

turners needs to move north and give Big 5 a run. That's cheap!

Cool.... Did the same thing and did it out of the country! I'll be back in CA on Sept 10. Won a bid on a 10/22, a little higher priced but more nostalgic look of the early 20th century style. It'll be shipped to my friend who's an FFL dealer.

Had a problem ordering my mags from Grabagun since I was out of the country, had to VPN to my work then go from there..... Always a workaround to get the important things in life....

            Thanks guys.
It was tagged $299, but since I waited in line for their grand opening for 2 hours and didnt even get in the building, the manager cut me a deal. He said it was because it was good friday... I also think they didnt sell very many, i overheard them saying they still had 20 or 30 of them in stock.
I dont expect him to sell more at that price, but you never know.
