Ejection issues on a mossberg mod k

can anyone help me out with any ideas on how to fix this?

I have a mod k slide action 22 that has a problem ejecting a spent case. As far as i can see the firing pin seems to push the casing downward causing it to get stuck near the ejection port.

i took the bolt carrier apart and cleaned everything...no difference.

looks like your firing pin is sticking out before the bolt goes into battery which could be a dangerous situation. Bent or broken maybe? Cant tell from pic#2 whats going on with the pin. don't really know anything about Mossy pumps though.

Extractors look like they are worn pretty good but then I don't know what they should look like on that rifle. Normally they have pretty sharp edges on my rifles where they grasp the cartrige to pull it straight back out of the chamber for ejection.

the extractors are a bit worn from what i can see but it holds the casing tight..i read online that these old slide action actually uses the firing pin to eject the casing out...

when i pump it back, the right extractor opens up and the firing pin "pushes" the casing out but the firing pin is a bit higher than the casing causing it to point downward before it comes out.

Could be a weak extractor spring too, not keeping enough "bite" on the rim of the case causing it to sag. Or what Izzy said....

Ok thanks for all the advice, gotta track down a new extractor now!
