do they ship as rebuilds, I was not of legal age to have had these mags pre ban, my father however might have a few.

Statue of limitations for standard cap mags is 6 years.

Also, you could do as I did and find a few AK and AR mags in a trash bin; finding magazines isn't illegal, must purchasing, giving, manufacturing, it importing. That was real and I think the firearms gods looked down on me with that one.

Also: if it's that bad and you want to get the rust off without taking any unnecessary metal off, go buy a jug of Evaporust. I used it on a .22 rifle that was literally CAKED in rust (I can show you some pics if you want) and it came out awesome. It takes the old blueing off though, but you want that anyway. It's completely safe, you could drink the stuff if you wanted to, but don't do that because we'd take you as a fool

I went to use hops and some really light steel wool and scratched the **** out of it so now I have to reblue....... Going to strip rest of barrel blue off with vinigar which i heard works. But show me the pics anyways maybe ill change my mind, and I do like drinking weird stuff. I thought the mag ban thing happened in 2000. Guess I was wrong, I'm still kind of ignorant in a few ways. Finding mags is always fun. Just some people *like me* get confused with that stuff and I'm sure some LEOS do too ha.
