    S&W MP 15/22 BORING

I mean it was right on at 35,50,75,yds,couldn't miss, sights were dead on
right out of the box. I bought it because I wanted a trainer for the M4,
works for that, too. I shot about 200 rds Federal blue box bulk and 100
Hyper 22Remington vipers. Functioned without a hitch. Forget a bucket of
loose parts for an upper, this is all you need and it's all complete. Pete

The 15-22 is a fun rifle. No doubt about it.

I like the 10 round shorty mags though. Easier to load them too because they have the load assist.

Yep, fun rifle. Sort of regret selling my MOE model, but needed the funds to complete my AR. I've been thinking of buying another 15-22 or just getting .22lr conversion for an AR. Decisions, decisions..

I have to have a malfunction or failure - even with crappy ammo at about 2k rounds thru it in last 4 mos

Mine is great too (MOE). I had a few minor hangups with craptastic Remington Golden Bullets and Plinker tactical magazines. If the weapon is relatively clean with factory mags and decent ammo, it functions basically 100%.

I had mine sighted in with a Primary Arms red dot and it was one shot kills with orange clays that were placed at random distances. Too much fun.

I think I recognize the shooting table as being at ASR. If so, you must have been plinking at the steel targets...which are awesome for this rifle!

I threw a PA 30mm red dot on mine ($80) so no guilt. Shoot it more than my Colt LE6920.

I try really hard to force malfunctions with mine. Crappy ammo, carelessly loaded mags, no cleaning... somehow it's still like the goddamn energizer bunny

When I got mines, I took it out of the box, baptized it by firing Remington Golden Bullets and it ran like a champ. After feeding it everything from Federal to Winchester, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Boring indeed.
