Armscor Small Arms Ammunition

Anyone use Armscor Small Arms Ammunition in their rim fired guns?

Did you have issues with Failure to Feed/Fire? Was it clean or dirty?

With 22 LR so hard to come by I am starting to get a little desperate and am considering trying some alternative brands.

If you have had any experience with this stuff, Good/Bad/Ugly, please chime in.

I haven't shot a ton of it, but it has been very clean, very accurate, and very reliable for me in the past.

If you read the various posts about Armscorp 22 rimfire ammo, you will see LOTS of issues with HOT ammo---personally, I won't use it in my guns---I know what happens when a shell-casing bursts as it is extracted from the chamber---you get sprayed with hot brass (ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES) that sticks into your skin, or worse your eye! Just my personal opinion...

Only Armscorp I have shot is .30 carbine.
No FTF or FTE
I haven't seen it any dirtier than anything else.

I've gone through two bricks of the .22 LR and about 150 rounds of .30 Carbine 110 gr FMJ. Nothing to complain about, either from the Philippines-produced rimfire or the "Armscor USA" centerfire.

My Marlin 70 actually likes the stuff -- nothing special accuracy wise but no FTE's so far. Everyone seems surprised to hear that... Wish I'd picked up more when it was cheap.

Just got a couple hundred rounds of their .223 Rem, haven't shot any yet but it all looks good. If it holds 3 MOA I'll be happy for the price.

Never seen a problem with their .22 LR on the line at Appleseed.

I bought 2K rounds when Turners offered it for sale a couple years ago. The cases have a slight bulge in them the makes it necessary to force it into a Benz type chamber, though it fed OK in my factory 10-22 barrels. It wasn't just a couple of random cartridges, all of them are this way, must have been a poor lot. Hopefully they do not have this issue anymore.

Shot some in a six-shooter. Seemed to be smokey, accuracy-leaded up my barrell after 150 rounds. Got sideways hits and stopped.

Much rather shoot thunderbolts.
