    Impractical Mall Ninja .22 Sights

I just got a new tapco t6 stock for my 10/22. Rifle is still new hasn't been shot. This is more of an extra rifle I had lying around taking up space. I have a S&W 15 22 as a backup or trainer to my ar 15 platform and I have a Savage fv sr .22 as a backup or trainer to my savage 11. So this one didn't really fit in anywhere. So I wanted to do something different with it. I'd like for it to be an do it all wannabe. I mounted the stock ruger rail. Got a cheap RDS for it. Before I mounted it all on I noticed the stock sights really suck, as far as adjustability. I hate having to tap and drift sights. If the Red dot fails and I remove it I still have to remove the mounting rail also cause you cannot see the rear sight due to the high profile of the rail. I know there are other options like tech sights.

But I was thinking more of cheap knock off Dueck Defense offset sights. $24.

Part of me says "Dude it's just a .22" I'd be going over the top with back up sights of any sort.
    What do you guys think?
    What sights do you run?

I think the title of the thread says it all.

Mall Ninja for sure, but if that is what you like then don't let anyone change your mind.

having flip BUIS is fun alternative when you want to switch it up at the range, but 45 degree ones is def a lil ninja. Prob will rarely use them.

Yea I thought giving the limiting range in my .22 average shooting distance around 50 yards with the max at 100 it just doesn't make sense. Just seems odd to not have some type of back up sights on a rifle.

I bought those. Mine are good so far but I don't think they have good quality control so your mileage may vary.

I'm notoriously bad about remembering to turn off optics at the end of a range trip, so whenever I shot my 10/22, about half the time I'd have no sights because the batteries would be dead. If I'd had BUIS, then I'd at least be able to shoot relatively accurately.

Nothing wrong with a 10/22. It's my choice for SHTF or zombie killer.
