    Savage MK II

Just finally got to stretch my new Mark II FV's legs and continually nailing a 4" rock out at 200 yards with Bulk Federal was great!
With 75 yard zero I held 3rd mil dot down (@7x magnification) and it was DNO. Cheap fun.
    That is all.

Which scope do you have? I just picked up that same gun, but haven't shot it yet-- very much looking forward to it.

I put my Vortex Viper 6.5x21x44 Mil-dot on it for now since I had it sitting in my safe after replacing it with a Bushnell Elite Tac 6x24x50 G2DMR on my R700. A little overkill but effective.

                    my savage mkii

Mine came with a ten round magazine and I mail ordered a second with a set a weaver scope mounts. I put a cheap scope from walmart on it. AO40RG by centerpoint. I bought a savage .30-06 that came with a scope. Bushnell thing broke in 40 rounds, put the cheap walmart scope on .30-06 and it has been there ever since. Kids like the iron sights on the .22lr better and like shooting the orange clay the shotgun guys miss.
